EPISODE TWENTY-FIVE: THE POWER OF KUWABARA'S LOVE

After beating the 12 guards and the three other more Tarukane had placed before Yusuke and Kuwabara, only two more are left. Now, they are facing the Toguro brothers, who are the last obstacle to their way to free Yukina. Tarukane was glad because he knew Sakyo had placed his bet wrongly. Hearing this, Kuwabara frowned, especially when he identified the men in the screens as businessmen who had turned their fight into a bet. Still, after he sized the brothers up, he couldn't feel anything from them, and he knew that they would be easy to beat. Yusuke, however had his doubts, after he felt uneasy at the fact the he couldn't get anything from them. His unease had caused slight tremors on his body.

Toguro Ototo decided to make the first move. His brother, Toguro Ani, dropped from his shoulder and transformed to a grey sword. Toguro Ototo picked it up and announced that their ki will be one as his body enlarges to his desired size. His sudden release of ki created gusts of wind that pushed Yusuke and the others. Yusuke felt as thought he was getting grinded slowly and that he must move. When Toguro Otot attacked them with the sword, Yusuke and Kuwabara jumped up (Yusuke lifted Botan) and the sword sliced through their clothes. They managed to recover from their shock and Kuwabara released his rei ken. Toguro Ototo's sword met Kuwabara's rei ken and as he pressed it closer to Kuwabar (with the rei ken separating them), he socked Kuwabara on his stomach. Kuwabara slammed on the wall, and his body was embedded on the concrete wall before he fell facedown. Toguro Ototo ruthlessly announced that even if he is a mere human being, it wouldn't stop him from hurting him.

Kuwabara stood up in his shaky legs. Toguro Ototo was about to finish him when Yusuke ran to his side a few meters away and fired his rei gan. His target managed to avoid it completely and Yusuke fired his shot gun, which hit Toguro head on. Yusuke thought it was all over but when he saw Toguro Ototo's state, his sword had turned into an armor wrapped around his arm and this shielded his face. They learned from him that his brother could also change into different weapons. Yusuke ran to him to punch him, but he missed and was hit instead. He was hit again and again.

At Rei kai, Koenma was visibly scared at how the fight was turning out to be. Kurama arrived and saw Yusuke and Kuwabara's opponents and recognized the brothers as well. Koenma told him that it was obvious Hiei had followed the three, but wasn't showing himself to help. Kurama decided to rush to the mansion as well and try to make it in time to help.

While the fight was going on, Tarukane and his men hadn't noticed that an intruder has made his way inside the mansion, knocking everyone who gets in his way cold and unconscious. Hiei had finally arrived at the mansion and is now looking for Yukina, and the man responsible for her ordeal. 

Watching Kuwabara and Yusuke beaten up by Toguro Ototo, Tarukane glanced at the calm Sakyo. He thought ruefully that Sakyo almost wiped out his entire savings by making huge bets on Yusuke's gang. As Kuwabara landed on the floor, he suddenly saw the tough experiences Yukina underwent under Tarukane's clutches. The first one was a paper seal that could burn the flesh when it comes into contact with it. Tarukane pressed it on Yukina's arm while she begged him for mercy. Kuwabara gritted his teeth on that and his face turned grimmer as he saw another image of Yukina. She was aided by one of Tarukane's men because he has a younger sister her age. While attempting to escape, Tarukane caught on their plans and shot him right in front of Yukina. Because of his rage, Kuwabara gathered enough ki to stand up. Toguro Ototo noticed and pointed this out to Kuwabara. Kuwabara said that he wasn't planning on attacking him, but on the jerk tanding obove him. Tarukane!

Toguro Ototo blocked Kuwabara's rei ken and he sent the redhead down on the floor. A plan took shape and Kuwabara attacked again. Toguro Ototo was more than ready for it until Yusuke fired his rei gan that added to Kuwabara's speed. His rei ken plunged into Toguro Ototo's stomach and the fight ended. 

Sakyo declared himself winner and he asked Tarukane to have the cash ready by a month. Then, his face disappeared from the screen. Tarukane immediately instructed his three bodyguards to take Yukina away and that they will escape. To their surprise, Hiei appeared, took care of the three guards and then faced Tarukane with rage. Tarukane then offered Hiei money and when this didn't work, Yukina and her tears. This unleashed the anger boiling inside him and started punching the lights out of Tarukane. Hiei's favorite was hitting the human's ugly face. Botan, from below, had noticed this, and told Yusuke to stop him. Hiei continued bludgeoning Tarukane's face until he made his final blow on him. All of this is because of Yukina, who held his arm tightly towards her and cried for him to stop. Hiei immediately agreed to his request and stopped, saying that she can now stop feeling sad about what he's doing to the man. When she asked who he was, Hiei froze, and then, gesturing towards Yusuke and the others, he simply said that he's one of them. A look in Yukina's face told him that she had suddenly remembered something and she left to go down the arena before them. 

Behind him, Kurama said that he rushed to their aid as soon as he can, but he came there too late. He asked Hiei if he had told Yukina who he really was, but Hiei said that it wasn't necessary and he should let things be. 

Below, Yukina ran down and approached Yusuke, who was standing beside Botan. He said that he's all right and that it was Kuwabara who needed her help. Yukina immediately rushed to Kuwabara's side and pressed her hands on both of his cheeks. She said she has healing powers and she can help Kuwabara get better. Yusuke and Botan silently made their exit and headed upstairs as Kuwabara talked to Yukina. He apologized for not coming so soon and for the attitude of humans. He also said that not all humans act like Tarukane. There simply are just a lot of humans who are different from one another. Sooner or later, you'll bound to like them. He was hoping Yukina would understand what he was saying and she did, thanking him for his concern.
