EPISODE THIRTEEN: RANDOU VS. YUSUKE

Feeling the adrenaline flowing through his entire body, Yusuke began punching Randou. But his efforts proved worthless when Randou didn't even appear hurt. Thinking that it's all Yusuke can show, Randou launched his assault on the Rei kai tantei. 

When he opened his mouth, thin white strands of thread came out of his mouth and bounded Yusuke in one piece. He tied him on one long branch of tree under a pond and allowed him to dangle upside down. Randou murmured some more, and majestic fishes with double rows of teeth (just like the shark) appeared and greedily munched on some bait provided by Randou. He told Yusuke that his pets loved human flesh. With a blast from his finger, just like the rei gan, he broke the branch Yusuke was dangling from and he fell into the water, to be a meal of the fishes.

Under desperate measures, Yusuke considered giving up. He was so tired, he might as well be the fishes' lunch. He claimed that if he had know that he's about to die, he might as well had fun back at his house. He knew that a person that's about to die remembers all the good things that has happened to him, but Yusuke says all he remembers are the bad things. That's when Kuwabara made an appearance.

His soul traveled from his body to Yusuke's current location, surrounding him and evading the greedy fishes heading his way. He taunted Yusuke about being a quitter and boasted that when he gets well, he'll fight Sholin once gain. Inspired, Yusuke let out a powerful blast of ki and killed the fishes, not to mention being freed from the thread that bounded him.

Even if it took place under the water, Randou predicted what might have happened. He readied his rei gan, and aimed on the water. Yusuke was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, a voice from behind called his attention, and there he was! Yusuke used the remaining ounce of his ki to fire his own rei gan and luckily, it hit Randou.

He was hoping for a victory, but it didn't happen since Randou is still alive. Feeling the strains of having a headache, Yusuke didn't care anymore, He can't even hear what Randou was saying.

Randou then seized the opportunity to shrink Yusuke. Following the same steps he had done to Kuwabara, he watched, waiting for Yusuke to become small. After a few seconds of wait, he realized that his plan backfired. He shrunk, instead of Yusuke. Randou couldn't understand what may have happened. Genkai explained that only a weak opponent would stand still and allow himself to be shrunk. A wise opponent would just cover his ears, so that the one who summoned the spirits to shrunk one person will be the one to shrink, just like what happened to Randou. Botan, who was listening, said that Yusuke didn't even cover his ears. He was lying flat on the ground.

That's when Yusuke sat up, saying that he couldn't hear very well. When he reached on his ear to check it, he found dirt inside. Apparently, when he fell into the water, dirt clogged up his ears. No wonder he couldn't make out the words they were saying!

Seeing this, Randou immediately planned his attempt to enlarge himself. Before he could do anything, Yusuke put a stop to that. He claimed to be dead tired to do anything else, so he casually rolled over and pressed his elbow on Randou's flailing body. Then, he laid back, exhausted. 

Genkai announced that Yusuke will inherit her ki. After healing Kuwabara, she dropped the bombshell. Yusuke was about to take Botan on the Battleball, but Genkai told him that he has to stay and start his training. He has to be prepared to get the ki from her. With that, Yusuke fainted.

At Rei kai, everyone is celebrating. Koenma was glad he sent a really good rei kai tantei to defeat Randou.
